SHOWDOWN AT THE HBB CORRAL PLEASE REMEMBER - THIS IS A BYOB EVENT. NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED. Howdy! The Homer’s Backyard Ball Committee invites you to “Showdown at the HBB Corral” on May 15-16, 2009 in the pasture next to Splash Amarillo located off I-40 East between Whitaker and Lakeside. *The cookoff will be sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers Association (IBCA). (You will find a copy of their rules and regulations along with your entry forms and a self addressed envelope enclosed in this packet.) *A Kids Q will be held on Friday night ~ so have those younguns’ fire up the grille and work on those cooking skills. (There will be two age groups 12 and under and 13-18.) *Gates open at 8:00 am Friday, May 15th and all sites will be assigned at the gate upon arrival. *Due to space restrictions, we are limited to 200 cook teams so please get your registration in early. *This year we are disturbing a program at the event each cook team has the opportunity to enter an add. The forms are in this packet. Your packets will be handed out at the entry gate when you arrive on Friday.
